• What does this parable teach us about God?
• How is this parable a warning?
• John Piper has described our situation in America as “third soil” Christianity. By this he means that many Christians in America are being compromised by wealth and the cares that flow from it. Do you agree? If so, what can be done to change this?
• St. Augustine writes, “Work diligently the soil while you may.” How might we do this?
• What does a “fruitful” Christian look like? Can you think of specific examples?
